mile 13 5:54

.11 mile .31

Total time 1:17:27

This is a new PR for me by 1:12 over last years time on the same course.

i felt like i ran a good race. going into it i felt like i needed to keep my splits a little more even. i struggled at mile 9 but fought through it better than last year. i should have took gu more often and earlier but stomach felt too unsettled. i took very little hydration during the race and only a half a gu at mile 7. i drank like crazy after the race. picked up my medal early and hurried back to the family reunion in pinevalley. Glad a went and ran the race. to be honest i didn't think i had a PR performance in me so i surprised my self.

Good job Ryan. You ran great - especially considering the circumstances. If you don't run a 2:50, I am going to... I don't know, do something to you.

Excellent race, you are fast!

Normally, how many gu's would you have and how often?

How is Cedar City? I miss SUU! If you have a construction company you may know my former co-workers at ERA Realty down there...

Nice job on the race and the new PR. You have been running really great this year. Like Dave said you should be in great shape come the St. George Marathon.

Great job on getting the pr in the race. Looks like it was well worth the drive and lack of sleep.
