3 mile loop warm up--Track workout---then a 3 mile cool down. Track workout went as follows: 1600m 5:20 1200m 3:57 800m 2:38 4x400m 1:12, 1:16, 1:13, 1:14 work out went about as well as I hoped it would. The hardest part was talking myself into just starting the workout. It is just hard to want to do speed workouts when most of my other running is at 8-9:00 pace. I guess I need to try and get my pace down a little on one of my regular runs so that i am working all the gears just a little.
