11.5 in the morning.  as part of the run i 2x1.55 mile.  It is the out and back of a couple of upcoming 5k races on the coal creek trail.  i ran the out(uphill) portion in 9:38 and the back partion in 8:03. I think i ran the race last year in 17:34.

 

7.5 miles before supper. felt pretty good all things considered. by the end of the run there wasn't much left in the legs.

I read an interesting article about running shoes verses bare foot running.  It was on line at lewrockwell.com     Wednesday April 22 archive.  Check it out.

I like the read - that is why I try and get a few miles barefoot; especially when I am feeling a little run down - also it is just fun!
