10.5 in the morning in 1:12:30. i felt good better than i expected i would after this week. raced a 10k last weekend and then hit 65 miles this week and cranked out a pretty good run today. my first 2 miles were really slow getting warmed up. ended up deciding to throw in a couple tempo miles hit the first one at 6:02 and thought "that was too easy" so i ran the last one in 5:44 and it felt real good. plan is to keep mileage in the 60's for a few weeks. main thing is to stay injury free. i would rather be running less miles but at least be running than to be injured because i got over zealous with mileage. |
